Presented by Shark Beauty, AFW 2025 will take over Sydney from May 12-16, with Carriageworks and other iconic Sydney locations hosting this landmark event. For the first time, the event is driven by the industry itself under the guidance of the AFC, operating as a not-for-profit to elevate Australian fashion on both local and international stages. This reinvigorated vision aims to solidify Australia’s reputation as a hub of creativity and innovation, while also providing tangible economic opportunities for designers and brands.

The stellar lineup for 2025 includes renowned names such as Aje, Alix Higgins, Bassike, Beare Park, Bianca Spender, Boteh, Buluuy Mirrii, Carla Zampatti, Farage, Gary Bigeni, Haluminous, Hansen & Gretel, Jordan Gogos, Joseph & James, Karla Spetic, Ksubi, Lee Mathews, Liandra, Macgraw, Mariam Seddiq, Miimi + Jiinda, Nagnata, Ngali, Nicol + Ford, Permanent Vacation, Romance Was Born, SIR. the label, and 1800 Psycho. Making its debut this year, The Frontier Group Show will feature cutting-edge talents Amy Lawrance, Courtney Zheng, Common Hours, ESSE, MATIN, Paris Georgia, and Wynn Hamlyn.

"We are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding designers participating in AFC Australian Fashion Week 2025. This carefully curated schedule reflects the immense talent that defines Australian fashion and reinforces the global demand for our designers,” said Kellie Hush, CEO of AFC Australian Fashion Week. “Providing a platform of this scale is critical to their continued success, both at home and abroad."

Shark Beauty's Managing Director ANZ, Aby Shukla, echoed this excitement, stating, "Shark Beauty is honored to support the innovation and creativity of Australian designers. Our mission to empower individuals aligns seamlessly with the transformative nature of fashion. We are excited to champion this platform and witness the bold visions that define Australian style."

AFW 2025 is proudly supported by the NSW Government’s Destination NSW, recognizing the vital role of fashion in Sydney’s cultural and economic landscape. Minister for Jobs and Tourism, Steve Kamper, remarked, "The revitalized Australian Fashion Week not only enriches Sydney’s dynamic cultural scene but also generates exciting opportunities for our creative and retail industries. By providing designers with access to new markets, we reinforce Sydney’s status as Australia’s fashion capital and a global style influencer."

Minister for Arts, John Graham, further emphasized the significance of this event, stating, "Fashion is an essential part of our creative economy, and we are proud to support the evolution of Australian Fashion Week. This event underscores the enduring impact of Australian design on the global stage."

This year’s AFW also welcomes an expanded network of partners, including eBay, DHL, Afterpay, Marque Lawyers, Carriageworks, and Simply Seated, all dedicated to redefining Australian Fashion Week. The event will also introduce The Atelier, powered by Splash, reinforcing a renewed focus on global wholesale opportunities and strengthening the designer showroom experience.

As the curtain rises on AFC Australian Fashion Week 2025, Sydney once again takes center stage in the global fashion conversation, celebrating innovation, craftsmanship, and the visionary designers shaping the future of Australian fashion.
