As a beauty enthusiast, Bella started experimenting with products during her time spent overseas in the modelling industry. Faced with fussy routines, toxic ingredients and a lack of options for different skin types, her skin became sensitive and she developed chronic dermatitis.
Frustrated with the lack of elevated yet affordable skincare, and feeling self-conscious and anxious about her skin, Bella saw a gap in the market: luxury skincare more accessible for everyday use, with a focus on clean, Australian-made products that are safe for all skin types and conditions.
“I want to create luxury for everyday use and for my generation. I really want to create the best of the best and make it more accessible. The market is saturated. Instead, each product is crafted with so much care, attention and love that’s why we are launching one product at a time. As we only put out the best of the best and each formulation takes years.”
In 2024, Bella launched Strange Luxury, an Australian skincare brand designed to deliver luxury skincare suitable for all skin types that also champions clean beauty, culture and confidence for the younger generation. In a world of fussy, complicated and expensive ten-stage skincare routines, Bella set out to create a simple routine that focused on quality. The brand advocates for a minimalist approach, emphasising the effectiveness of fewer, high-quality products. Strange Luxury’s antioxidant-rich formulations have been 3 years in the process. Bella worked with a team of clinical scientists for even the most sensitive of skin, with everything made locally with 100% Australian ingredients.
