Now, the Maison is delighted to unveil the RIMOWA Original Vanity Case, a design reinterpretation inspired by its archives featuring new functionalities.
Dating back to the 1970s, vanity cases have been a RIMOWA staple for decades. Considered a travel must-have for their durability and storage capacity, the design makes for a fitting addition to the Maison’s contemporary offerings. Reimagined to meet the needs of today’s discerning travellers, an updated vanity case makes its comeback in an expansion of the iconic Original collection.
The new RIMOWA Original Vanity Case, masterfully crafted in Germany, offers a stylish and practical solution for the storage and transportation of beauty, cosmetic, and grooming essentials. Made from the Maison’s iconic grooved aluminium, the elegant case is a testament to RIMOWA’s commitment to functional design, standing as an ideal choice for travellers constantly on the move.
The new addition to the Original collection opens from the top for easy access, with RIMOWA’s logo featured below the top handle. Travellers will first find a zipped pocket featuring a water repellent coating, designed to hold lighter items. A flat pouch is also integrated on the case’s top, with a grey leather-made aluminium mirror inside.
The RIMOWA Original Vanity Case opens to an Italian-leather lined compartment, where travellers can store five bottles which can be safely secured during travel with a large elastic. Another compartment features a bespoke removable aluminium and plexiglass tray, adorned with RIMOWA’s signature monogram on its front. The removable tray is designed to hold smaller items such as make-up.
To ensure comfort during travels, the RIMOWA Original Vanity Case features a travel strap on the back, allowing the case to be easily attached to your suitcase while on the go.
