An evolution of the brand’s heritage design DNA, Mulberry extends its range with two new families - Lana and Pimlico. Boldly accenting both styles, Mulberry’s iconic Postman’s and Rider’s Locks are reimagined to take centre stage, with cues from jewellery.
Defined by its sleek and structured aesthetic, the Lana is available in three styles; a dynamic Top Handle style, available in two sizes, which effortlessly transitions between day and night and features a crossbody strap for versatile wear; the 90s-inspired Lana Shoulder Bag, and the timeless Lana Clutch, which comes with an additional chain strap. Mulberry’s new Surrealism-inspired Foundry Lock adorns each silhouette. The lock plays on the brand’s iconic Postman’s lock to create an organic and fluid hardware. Crafted from smooth new High Gloss leather, which accentuates the silhouette, the colour palette ranges from jewel-toned Titanium Blue and mirrored Silver, to classic shades of Sable, Eggshell, and Black.
The Pimlico’s sculpted silhouette takes inspiration from the quintessential British satchel. Created in the brand’s new Super Lux Calf leather, the Pimlico’s smooth, clean lines contrast against its bold, heavy hardware - Mulberry’s Pimlico Lock, a reimagined version of the brand’s classic Rider’s Lock. With hardware available in Brass and Silver, to reflect the wearer’s individual style, the Pimlico Lock can be found across both sizes of the silhouette – classic and small – which are available in refined new season colourways including Dark Cherry and Bright Oak.
True to Mulberry’s Made to Last ethos, the Lana and the Pimlico are crafted from carbon-neutral leather, a commitment for all Mulberry bags since 2022, achieved through offsetting with the World Land Trust, and sourced from environmentally- accredited tanneries. Their timeless and meticulous design is brought to life through decades of craft expertise and leatherwork.
The campaign, shot in the British countryside by celebrated fashion photographer Esther Theaker and styled by Eliza Conlon, features acclaimed musician, composer, and artist Okay Kaya and Somali-British model Bibi Abdulkadir. Shot at day break and night fall, the campaign celebrates the bags’ effortless go-everywhere attitude, juxtaposing both the soft and structured with the day and night.
Available now, the Lana family starts from $1,465. The Pimlico family starts from $2,250 and launches on the 30th October globally, both will be available in Mulberry stores and online.
