RALPH LAUREN’S PINK PONY INITIATIVE

08 Nov 2023

More than 30 years ago, Ralph Lauren made a personal commitment to support the fight against cancer. Today, The Pink Pony Initiative, the Company’s global philanthropic program formally established in 2001, supports programs for cancer research, screenings, early diagnosis, treatment, education and patient navigation. This year’s campaign builds upon the Company’s continued commitment to raising awareness and funds around the cause, with donations raised from the annual Pink Pony product collections benefiting the Pink Pony Fund of The Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation, as well as an international network of cancer charities.

In support of this year’s campaign, the Company will donate 100% of the purchase price from the sale of the classic Pink Pony Oxford Shirt, the Pink Pony Fleece Hoodie, and the new this year Pink Pony T-Shirt to the Pink Pony Fund or to a network of international cancer charities. The items will be available globally in October in select Ralph Lauren retail stores, on RalphLauren.com and in select global wholesale stores.

Throughout the month of October, the Company featured a series of in-store activations to raise awareness and funds for Pink Pony around the world. Ralph Lauren restaurants and Ralph’s Coffee shops globally offered signature Pink Pony drinks – the “Pink Pony Cocktail” and “Beet Latte”- with proceeds going to support the Pink Pony Fund or a local cancer organization. Ralph’s Coffee locations globally offered Pink Ralph’s Coffee logo sleeves on all drinks. In addition, the Company’s flagship stores in New York, Chicago, Sydney, Singapore, Beijing, and Shanghai lightened up their facades in pink. Ralph Lauren Golf Ambassador Billy Horschel and his wife Brittany donated $1,000 per birdie each when they played at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

Pink Pony is a cornerstone program for the Company that is deeply rooted within the fabric of Ralph Lauren’s culture. It brings together all facets of the business around a central cause, from employees who raise awareness by participating in global Pink Pony Walks and fundraising and volunteering events, to our customers who give back through their purchases and donations.
