Miller Harris Hydra Figue Eau de Parfum is a complex woody, citrus and marine fragrance combining the fruit of the Fig with Sea Salt, Greek Saffron and upcycled Oakwood, crafted to capture the scent of the artist’s idyll on the Mediterranean island of its namesake.
Allowing the wearer to journey to a Greek bohemian paradise with a fragrant ode to an island as evocative as it is inspiring, Hydra Figue captures the organic spirit, wild beauty and slow pace of the Greek Island, Hydra.
A nirvana for the senses, utilising the superiority of raw natural fragrance, the scent opens with a fresh citrus note of Cedrat and Lemon combined with an exquisite spicy touch of Greek Saffron and Ouzo Accord. Inspired by an afternoon breeze that carries the scent to the fresh fig trees of Hydra with comforting warm notes, crashing against the salty azure waves of the Aegean Sea. Beguiling white tuberose and Mirabilis Jalapa add a tranquil character while a Velvet Musk caresses the elegant woody notes of Sandalwood and Ambroxan.
Miller Harris’ eco-credentials are also at the forefront of its creation; Hydra Figue is the latest launch into the brands portfolio to contain sustainably led ingredients, with the scent utilising upcycled notes of both Sage and Oakwood. Up-cycled Hydrolat Sage, a by-product in the extraction of oil from sage, brings a gentle aromatic freshness, paying homage to the long-treasured natural springs of the island while Up-cycled Oakwood, selected for its rich and unforgettable trail is extracted from pre-used wine barrels.
