An odyssey, exploring the opiate pathway and flora of the spice routes - Established over 2.5 millennia ago, The silk Road stretched far and wide, running via a number of routes from China through Moghul India and Mesopotamia, crossing into Egypt, Anatolia and finally Europe.
Great inventions and knowledge were shared: The Orient - with its skillful silkworm expertise, spices, gold, gunpowder and medicines. And Europe - introduced to alchemy, astronomy and mathematics.
