Davines become an Ocean Keeper 2023

26 May 2023

This June we celebrate, World Ocean’s Day, and the launch Davines next annual sustainability campaign, which allows us to think about how we can further our impact in Australia.

For the last two years Davines have been supporting sustainability initiatives linked to our treasured blue ecosystems around Australia, encouraging salons and consumers to Become an Ocean Keeper with Davines!

For the next edition, Davines are very proud to partner with another incredible organisation, Blue Carbon Lab, who are offering innovative solutions for our blue ecosystems in Australia to help mitigate the impact of climate change.

Blue carbon ecosystems, referred to coastal wetlands are powerful in their ability to store and capture carbon dioxide emissions, acting as a natural carbon sink helping to offset emissions. Coastal wetlands are able to trap carbon 30-50 times faster than forests, allowing for maximum carbon sequestration.

Through supporting organizations, like Blue Carbon Lab who manage and support coastal wetlands, enhancing biodiversity of these areas, protecting coastlines from erosion and expediting the rate we can store carbon, we are able to positively contribute to our environment and the fight against climate change!

To support Blue Carbon Lab with their ongoing efforts to mitigate the affects of climate change in Australia Davines will donate $2 from every sale of the limited edition Davines Duo packs. PLUS receive a complimentary limited edition campaign cosmetic bag.
