French Bloom, an organic alcohol-free sparkling wine crafted in the southwest of France has arrived in Australia

04 Feb 2023

Female-led and founded on the ethos of inclusivity and wellbeing, French Bloom’s premium range of French Bubbly with 0.0% alcohol brings elegance to any celebration.

Launched in 2021 by Maggie Frerejean-Taittinger and Constance Jablonski, the beverage house was born from the bi-cultural friendship of its founders and their shared wellness journeys and desire for a festive and French-made alcohol-free sparkling crafted with the finest organic ingredients.

When Maggie, formerly Michelin Guide’s international development manager with a deep understanding of premium food and wine was pregnant with twins, she found a lack of alcohol-free alternatives to champagne. Similarly Constance, a successful model with a fast-paced lifestyle, faced with the challenge of wanting to participate in social gatherings without sacrificing her health and career goals. These experiences sparked the creation of French Bloom, combining pleasure and wellbeing without compromising on flavour and style.

French Bloom is the result of two years of research and development. More than 70 tests were undertaken to achieve the most flavourful and balanced alcohol-free French sparkling with Carl Héline, former Head of Krug Champagne at Moet-Hennessy and Rodolphe Frerejean-Taittinger, CEO of Champagne Frerejean Fre?res providing expert guidance during the process.

The house now offers two cuvées, Blanc and Rosé, each created from a unique blend of organic wines. Every batch undergoes a manual de-alcoholisation process to achieve the 0.0% alcohol content while also focusing on achieving integrity of flavour.

After launching in Paris to much acclaim, the house has developed a cult following globally and is now found in the world’s finest restaurants, bars, hotels and department stores including Selfridges, Galeries Lafayette, Ritz Paris, The Beverly Hills Hotel, The Carlyle NYC. It has also been chosen as the official non-alcoholic sparkling wine for the Michelin Guide.

“Our French sparkling wine is distinguished but unpretentious. It allows you to celebrate fully, without making sacrifices, reconciling social life and well-being,” said Maggie Frerejean-Taittinger.

Unlike existing alcohol-free beverages where additives and preservatives can be present, French Bloom is 100% natural, vegan-certified, halal and low-calorie, free from added sugar and sulphites.

Awarded ‘World’s Best Alcohol-Free Sparkling Wine’ in the renowned 2022 World Sparkling Wine Awards, French Bloom is on its way to being recognised as the world market leader in premium non-alcoholic wines.

French Bloom is now exclusively available for purchase in Australia via David Jones:
