Avène XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cleansing Oil (400ml $36.99) is a face and body cleanser for very dry skin or skin prone to eczema. It is suitable for infants, babies, children, and adults, and even suitable during flare-ups. The soap free base gently cleanses the skin without stinging eyes, soothes itching caused by dry skin, and protects skin against the drying effects of water.
The new and improved XeraCalm A.D Lipid-replenishing Cleansing Oil formula has higher emollients (+47% vs the old formula), which help protect the nourishing and restorative function of the skin barrier. In addition, the oil has a specific combination of ingredients to nourish, repair and protect the skin, including naturally soothing and softening Avène Thermal Spring Water.
The key ingredient I-Modulia complex, result of 12 years of scientific development, reduces itching sensations and soothes redness caused by skin dryness. The addition of Cer-Omega lipids (resembles those found in the skin) helps to repair, nourish and strengthen the skin’s protective film, giving the skin better resistance against external aggressions.
The Cleansing Oil is formulated with 86% of ingredients from natural origin and formulated to minimise the risk of allergic reaction, is non-comedogenic, soap free and fragrance free. The packaging is 100% recycled PET and recyclable and the formula is biodegradable.
Morning or evening, in the shower, lather onto wet hands before applying to the skin. In the bath, pour the equivalent of 5 pumps into bath water while filling the tub. Rinse thoroughly and dry without rubbing. For best results, follow with XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cream (for dry skin) or the Avène XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Balm (for very dry skin).
