MONCLER LAUNCHES EXCLUSIVE QIXI CAPSULE COLLECTION

Wish upon a star this Qixi Festival, with the launch of an exclusive capsule collection, dedicated to love and possibility. Inspired by the classic tale of The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl – a romance set in the astral sky – the collection features playful stars, created by Chinese contemporary artist Sun Yitian.

Moncler enlisted Beijing-based Yitian to bring her signature bright and optimistic aesthetic to the collection. The result is a refreshingly playful capsule of head-to-toe looks, each featuring blue cartoonish stars–echoing Yitian’s signature inflatables. The stars appear as prints and patches throughout the collection, in varying degrees of prominence. Go bold with oversized stars on the chest of hoodies, or all-over-print rain jackets, or nod to your artistic taste with a simple patch at the sleeve. Playful fabric, like a strokable teddy hybrid jacket, makes outerwear more experimental and a selection of rainwear is made from recycled fabric as part of our commitment to the planet and technical innovation. Organic cotton is used to craft an assortment of lightweight separates, from t-shirts to bermuda shorts. His-and-hers tracksuits complete the line-up, perfect for lounging at home á deux.

Exclusive to APAC , the Qixi capsule collection will be available from July in select Moncler boutiques and online at moncler.com.
