Jean Paul Gaultier limited-edition eau de toilette for Pride 2022, shout our pride out loud

22 Jun 2022

Since 1982, Jean Paul Gaultier has supported the causes, figures, and values of the LGBTQIA+ community. Proud to be an ambassador for diversity, the Maison is collaborating for this new fragrance with associations working across the globe to support the community.

Locally, Jean Paul Gaultier has teamed up with NSW organisation, ACON, who are committed to ending HIV in Australian communities as well as supporting people living with HIV to ensure healthy and positive living environments. Jean Paul Gaultier is donating $20 per Pride fragrance sold to support ACON’s extraordinary mission in the community.

From the hallmark fragrance of Classique and Le Male, a shared, unifying note has emerged: neroli. Lavish and lovely, this orange blossom with its musky, gender- neutral scent unfurls a full rainbow of joyful nuances such as citrus zest and basil.

The collector comes in two different bottles, both containing the same fragrance, so consumer’s can select the bottle which best represents themselves. More universal than ever, the Classique and Le Male bottles have been given a fresh chrome makeover. Inspired by a 00s ready-to-wear archive piece, their curved chrome bodies are clad in a marinière featuring the LGBTQIA+ Pride rainbow flag.

Offbeat and contemporary, Pride 2022 diffuses the liberated trail of a fierce, festive woody-floral fragrance.

Available at Myer: Classique Pride Edition EDT 100ml RRP $150 & Le Male Pride Edition EDT 125ml RRP $159.
