Presenting BALLY HIKE by Robert Rabensteiner, A Capsule Collaboration Celebrating the Spirit of the Mountains with Contemporary City Style

21 Oct 2021

Bally introduces a new capsule collection that captures its alpine heritage with a modern feel, as technically-inspired designs meet bold color combinations. Launching this October, Bally Hike is made in collaboration with renowned fashion editor and stylist Robert Rabensteiner, who was born in the Dolomites, and brings his unique take on all-terrain styles that blur the boundaries between fashion and function. With nods to archival hiking shoes and cues to climbing, playful color blocking takes center stage, fused with Bally’s tradition of craftsmanship and innovation.

Honoring a pioneering legacy since 1851, from the renowned Reindeer boots worn by Tenzing Norgay in 1953 during the first-ever ascent of Mount Everest, to the multitude of hiking-inspired styles presented over the last century, Bally remains the ultimate authority in footwear for urban explorers.

Merging technical performance with ingenuity and craft, Bally Hike’s exclusive range of products include precision boots featuring Vibram and OrthoLite soles for ultimate grip and comfort, versatile backpacks, and sporty ready-to-wear separates.

Unique packaging utilizes eco-friendly materials from recycled fabrics to FSC-certified paper, mimicking the visual codes and colors of the Bally Hike collection with original sketches, limited-edition numbering and custom shoe boxes in deep moss green.

The Bally Hike capsule will be available on Bally.com and select Bally locations and multi-brand stores globally.

Whether worn at home in the city or outside in the wild, the Bally Hike capsule is simple and universal, drawing out the confidence of its wearer while coolly declaring: #HikeEverywhere .
