Saint Laurent Launched the Advent Calendar No One Saw Coming — Twenty-Four Vinyls Curated by Anthony Vaccarello

29 Nov 2025

Saint Laurent Rive Droite unveiled a concept this season that pushed the boundaries of traditional holiday gifting. Instead of candles, miniatures or skincare assortments, the House released its first-ever Advent Calendar as a vinyl anthology—a sculptural box set containing twenty-four records curated by Anthony Vaccarello. Presented in Paris and Los Angeles earlier this month, the launch offered a rare glimpse into the cultural pulse that drives the Rive Droite universe .

Each vinyl marked a day in December: a mix of exclusive Saint Laurent records and hand-selected classics that reflected decades of musical influence. Icons, anthems and atmospheric pieces were arranged like fragments of time, inviting the listener into a soundscape that felt both archival and intensely personal. It became less of a countdown and more of a ritual—an experience shaped through music rather than objects.

Hidden inside six of the records were access passes to Rive Droite gifts. A camera, a cap and other surprises turned the calendar into a game of discovery, echoing the brand’s playful yet measured approach to luxury. The accompanying digital experience allowed collectors to explore each vinyl online, adding an immersive layer that extended beyond the physical set.

Available at Saint Laurent Rive Droite in Paris and Los Angeles, Saint Laurent Babylone in Paris, the Meatpacking store and online at YSL.com, the calendar sat comfortably within Vaccarello’s broader vision for Rive Droite—a cultural destination where fashion, music, literature and art coexisted with sharp, modern elegance. It framed the season with a different kind of indulgence; one built on mood, memory and the unmistakable Saint Laurent attitude.
