RIMOWA has taken its most recognisable design code and reimagined it into an entirely new universe of everyday luxury. The Groove Collection, unveiled in September, brings the German Maison’s legendary suitcase grooves to premium Italian-crafted leather bags, merging mobility with couture-level detail.
Each piece plays with bold oversized horizontal and vertical grooves, a sculptural effect that recalls the iconic aluminium luggage while offering a new tactile softness. Made in Italy from supple leather, the bags carry RIMOWA’s balance of strength and refinement, complete with the Maison’s logo in relief and a custom interior plate fixed with rivets.
The collection launched with four distinct silhouettes: the Groove Shopping Bag, a timeless staple for day-to-night transitions; the relaxed yet elegant Groove Sliding Hobo Bag with detachable pouch; and the suitcase-inspired Groove Cross-Body Bags in both Large and Small, complete with wide zipped openings and versatile carrying options. Designed to complement RIMOWA’s celebrated luggage, the palette is rooted in black and silver, with seasonal shades of pink, burgundy, and green adding playful accents.
