Maison FRED has opened a new chapter in the story of its most cherished talisman, unveiling the Chance Infinie Novelty.
First created in 2016, the Chance Infinie collection has always symbolised luck, love, and endless possibility, its sideways figure eight both a tribute to Fred Samuel’s life and a universal sign of infinity. In this year’s reinterpretation, the motif evolves into something more fluid and feminine. The figure eight unfurls into a ribbon with delicately untied ends, transformed into what the Maison calls a “ribbon of life.” Sculpted in white or pink gold and illuminated by brilliant-cut diamonds, it radiates timeless elegance while carrying FRED’s luminous energy as The Sunshine Jeweler.
At the heart of the novelty lies the brilliance of pear-shaped diamonds, anchoring each design with emotional intensity. The nine new pieces include three High Jewelry creations — a necklace, ring, and earrings, each with a 0.7-carat pear diamond framed by pavé — and six jewelry designs that invite playfulness. Whether worn upright as the number eight or rotated to reveal infinity, these pieces embody the Maison’s belief that every moment offers a chance for happiness and self-made destiny.
