This winter, RIEDEL unveiled two stunning innovations that prove once again why the Austrian glassmaker remains at the pinnacle of design and performance. The Fatto a Mano Black Tie series and the Fatto a Mano Decanter both fuse age-old craftsmanship with precision technology, delivering wine tools that are as much art as they are function.
The Fatto a Mano Black Tie glasses are instantly recognisable with their striking hand-applied black base, which contrasts against a clear bowl and slender stem. Combining the ultra-lightweight goblets of the Superleggero series with solid black crystal, each piece feels unique, a refined centrepiece destined for festive occasions. Available in six sizes at $240 AUD each, they embody elegance with a modern edge.
Complementing the series is the Fatto a Mano Decanter, presented in July 2025 as a showcase of both ergonomics and artistry. The machine-blown Cabernet body is refined with a hand-applied handle available in clear, yellow, black, or mint crystal. Developed through extensive testing by Georg Riedel and his team, the handle ensures comfort and control, turning every pour into a smooth, effortless gesture. Retailing at $400 AUD, the decanter is suitable for young and mature wines, as well as non-alcoholic beverages, making it as versatile as it is beautiful.
Together, these launches highlight RIEDEL’s philosophy: tools of precision that enhance wine’s character while elevating every occasion into an experience.
