Penhaligon’s Daphne Bouquet Blooms at Highgrove Gardens—A Royal Fragrance with Purpose

25 Aug 2025

Penhaligon’s unveiled Daphne Bouquet, a luminous limited-edition eau de parfum inspired by the woodland florals of Highgrove Gardens, the cherished private residence of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Following the success of Highgrove Bouquet, this new creation celebrates the delicate beauty of the daphne flower while supporting The King’s Foundation, His Majesty’s charity dedicated to sustainability, heritage, and community.

The fragrance draws its spirit from The Stumpery, one of Highgrove’s most atmospheric garden spaces, where moss-covered trunks cradle vibrant ferns and daphne blossoms scent the air with citrus-like sweetness. Daphne Bouquet captures this fleeting spring moment with radiant notes of blackcurrant leaf and daphne flower accord, anchored by moss and vetiver for depth and poise.

More than a fragrance, Daphne Bouquet is a story of craftsmanship and legacy. True to Penhaligon’s ethos, the perfume was developed with environmentally mindful materials, replacing plastic with recyclable paper and sugar cane eco-foam, and using organic inks free of mineral oils. Ten percent of proceeds will fund The King’s Foundation’s programmes in heritage craft skills, horticulture, sustainable fashion, and traditional arts, supporting thousands of students each year.

From William Penhaligon’s Victorian beginnings to today’s royal collaborations, Penhaligon’s has always transformed perfume into poetry. With Daphne Bouquet, the house invites wearers to experience not just a scent, but a living chapter of Highgrove’s floral heritage—timeless, radiant, and purposeful.

Daphne Bouquet is available in limited quantities at Penhaligon’s boutiques, selected retailers, and penhaligons.com.
