On 13 August at Monterey Car Week, Range Rover unveiled the Sport SV Carbon, the final jewel in its high-performance flagship line-up. Designed as the boldest interpretation yet of the luxury performance SUV, the SV Carbon combines the raw power of its Twin Turbo V8 mild hybrid engine with the sophistication of lightweight carbon artistry.
Externally, the SV Carbon asserts itself with a Forged Carbon Exterior Pack, a Twill Exposed Carbon bonnet, and a curated palette of colours drawn from the SV Premium range. Every element underscores the SUV’s blend of precision engineering and reductive modern design. For those seeking further edge, optional 23-inch Carbon Fibre Wheels save up to 76kg in weight, enhancing ride quality, handling and acceleration.
Inside, the cockpit is unapologetically performance-driven yet drenched in refinement. Forged Carbon Fibre-backed seats with sculpted bolsters and illuminated SV logos set the tone, while clients can select from Windsor Leather in shades of Ebony, Rosewood, and Light Cloud, or opt for an innovative leather-free Ultrafabrics™ alternative. Twill Carbon detailing, Moonlight Chrome accents, and SV illuminated treadplates complete the interior’s exclusivity.
Under the bonnet, the 4.4-litre Twin Turbo V8 mild hybrid engine delivers 467kW and 750Nm, reaching top speeds of 180mph. Carbon Ceramic Brakes with exclusive eight-piston calipers in finishes from blue to carbon bronze ensure braking performance is as commanding as its acceleration.
Completing the Sport SV family alongside the SV and SV Black, the SV Carbon is the ultimate statement of Range Rover’s lightweight performance ethos. Available to order in Australia now from AUD 350,440, it redefines what dynamic luxury can look and feel like.
