What began as a luggage brand is now redefining design-led mobility. This season, RIMOWA unveils two standout colourways that bring new meaning to timeless travel style: the Original collection now arrives in a luminous Bronze, while the leather-clad Distinct and contemporary Never Still lines embrace a permanent new shade—Taupe.
Released globally on June 26, the RIMOWA Original Bronze radiates a quiet opulence. A burnished blend of toasted gold, coppery red, and earthy brown, the anodised aluminium exterior echoes the enduring elegance of sculpted bronze statues. Offered in Cabin (AUD 1,890), Check-In L (AUD 2,370), and Trunk Plus (AUD 3,070) sizes, this is a suitcase designed not only for function but for form, imagined as a keepsake of travel memories made tangible.
To mark the launch, RIMOWA released a cinematic short featuring the new Bronze case as the prized object in a high-stakes art auction. Polished and displayed like a sculptural relic, the suitcase becomes a symbol of rarity, craftsmanship, and cultural value.
On July 10, the Maison followed up with another tonal masterstroke: Taupe. Available in the Distinct Cabin (AUD 4,630), the Never Still Flap Backpack Small (AUD 2,000), and the Flat Pouch (AUD 650), this serene new hue evokes river stones softened by time—subtle, luxurious, and full of quiet power.
The RIMOWA Distinct is a marvel of leather-wrapped precision. Its pebbled texture, softened corners, and palladium details evoke both jewellery and architecture.
