Melbourne’s luxury scene just welcomed a brilliant new addition: Chopard has officially opened its new boutique at Chadstone – The Fashion Capital, unveiling the Maison’s most refined boutique concept yet in the Oceania region.
This isn’t merely a retail space—it’s a carefully curated expression of Chopard’s artisanal heritage and contemporary elegance. Spanning 8 metres wide and rising 4 metres tall, the boutique sits beneath Chadstone’s iconic glass dome, basking in natural light that accentuates its sophisticated architectural details.
Designed as a ‘home away from home’ inspired by the Scheufele family, the boutique brings together fine craftsmanship and emotional connection. At its heart hangs a bespoke Murano glass chandelier by the legendary Venetian glassmakers Barovier & Toso. Every hand-blown element shimmers with character, echoing Chopard’s own devotion to artisanal excellence.
Complementing the glow of glass is the understated richness of furnishings upholstered in exclusive Rubelli fabrics—another nod to Italy’s design heritage. The result is a space where collections like Happy Diamonds, Alpine Eagle, L.U.C and Haute Joaillerie are not just displayed, but experienced.
This Melbourne outpost is also the first in Oceania to showcase Chopard’s new global boutique design concept, marking a fresh chapter in the Maison’s evolving retail journey. Every corner reflects a thoughtful union of tradition and innovation—rooted in Swiss precision, yet alive with modern expression.
“The opening of our new boutique in Melbourne is a proud moment for Chopard and a meaningful step in the ongoing journey of our family-run company,” shares Co-President Karl-Friedrich Scheufele. “As Artisans of Emotions, we are committed to offering creations that not only reflect technical mastery and beauty but also carry the emotional depth of a heritage built on passion and precision.”
With this new boutique, Chopard deepens its connection with Australian clientele and invites them into a world where fine jewellery and watchmaking are not only timeless, but deeply personal.
