With the launch of Impadia, BDK Parfums offers a luminous new chapter in its Collection Parisienne—a fragrance that captures not the concrete of the city, but the way Paris breathes when touched by light. Inspired by the moments when the Parisian sky melts into hues of soft orange and rose, IMPADIA evokes a sensory portrait of the city’s gardens awakening under shifting light, where nature whispers through the urban landscape.
For founder David Benedek, Impadia is a tribute to this interplay between the natural and the architectural, a vertical dialogue between sky and bloom. It is not a literal fragrance of streets or stone, but one of light—where the first rays of dawn brush the floral silhouettes of the city with a romantic vitality.
Crafted by perfumer Jordi Fernandez, Impadia opens with a luminous burst: mandarin, bergamot, and pear entwined with the bright clarity of ginger and olibanum. The heart unfolds in a sumptuous rose accord, marrying the finest Bulgarian and Turkish rose oils with delicate orange flower. Beneath this floral lightness, a sensuous dry down emerges—Madagascar vanilla, creamy praline, Peru balsam, and an overdose of Akigalawood and Ambrofix, weaving a woody warmth that lingers like the memory of twilight.
In a fragrance landscape where gourmand florals often lean too sweet or overly polished, Impadia stands apart. It is a study in duality—radiant yet grounded, abstract yet intimate. Worn on skin, it speaks softly of modern sensuality and timeless elegance.
