On the breathtaking Orpheus Island in North Queensland, Range Rover has introduced the exquisite Range Rover SV Orpheus Edition in a debut that redefines luxury. Against a backdrop of pristine blue waters and untouched sands, the unveiling at Range Rover House offered a rare glimpse into the essence of bespoke craftsmanship.
Inspired by the island’s serene beauty, the Range Rover SV Orpheus Edition embodies elegance, exclusivity, and refined design. With only six vehicles available, this limited-edition masterpiece is reserved for Australia, ensuring its rarity and desirability.
The Orpheus Edition’s exterior showcases a bespoke Blue Gloss body paired with a striking silver roof, while 23-inch forged alloy wheels in Dark Grey with Black Satin contrast add a bold touch. The Range Rover bonnet and tailgate script, crafted in Black Metal and framed by Silver Chrome, enhance its distinctive presence.
Inside, the cabin reflects the tranquillity of Orpheus Island. The quilted Perlino leather seats evoke the island’s soft sands, complemented by a natural cream Ash Burr steering wheel, Perlino seatbelts, and white ceramic controls. Personalised scatter cushions, bespoke treadplates, and intricate embroidery ensure every detail resonates with luxury and exclusivity.
Beneath the elegant design lies exceptional performance. Powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo mild hybrid V8 engine, the Orpheus Edition delivers 452kW of power and 750Nm of torque. With a top speed of 261 km/h and acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, this SUV offers both power and precision, making every journey extraordinary.
Celebrating Australia’s connection to the ocean, this edition goes beyond luxury with a meaningful tribute to the Great Barrier Reef. Each owner will receive a custom-made sculpture by renowned artist Jason deCaires Taylor, inspired by his Ocean Sentinels installation, which sits five metres underwater near Orpheus Island. This artwork highlights the crucial role of Traditional Owners in preserving Australia’s natural heritage.
Penny Ferguson, Managing Director of JLR Australia, perfectly encapsulated the vision of the Orpheus Edition: “This rare creation reflects Australia’s coastal beauty, offering an exclusive blend of design, performance, and cultural resonance. It’s a celebration of the natural wonder that is Orpheus Island.”
