FRIGHTFULLY FUN STYLE: HUGO COLLABORATES WITH DISNEY TIM BURTON’S THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS ON NEW CAPSULE COLLECTION

17 Oct 2024

Just in time for Halloween and the winter holiday season, HUGO is excited to announce the launch of HUGO x Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas: a bold capsule that celebrates Tim Burton and Disney’s stop-motion cinema classic.

Jack Skellington, the instantly recognizable main character, is featured on comfortable jersey and knit pieces with relaxed silhouettes – including sweatshirts, T-shirts, hoodies, and day-to-night pajamas – along with socks, a pair of sneakers, a beanie, a scarf, and a tie. The universally appealing iconography from the beloved movie appears in various forms – from bold prints to jacquard knits - and the designs come in a rich color palette dominated by black, interspersed with flourishes of red, purple, and white.

The message behind Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas collection resonates with HUGO’s core mantra, HUGO Your Way, as its storyline champions self-discovery and the importance of staying true to oneself. Jack Skellington’s fantastical journey uplifts viewers to appreciate who they are, commit to their core values, and embrace their uniqueness.

To accompany the capsule launch, HUGO has unveiled a campaign filled with maverick energy and surreal visuals, bridging the worlds of HUGO and Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. The imagery and video content, which will be shared on HUGO’s social media and ecommerce channels, combine the brand’s self-expressive attitude with inspiration drawn from the graphic line work and high-contrast visuals of the film.

HUGO x Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas is now available to purchase in stores and on hugo.com.
