Dior unveils ITS LIFESTYLE CAPSULE CAMPAIGN WITH LEWIS HAMILTON

Virtuosity, Functionality, Luxury: these are the words that animate the lifestyle capsule dreamed up by Kim Jones and Lewis Hamilton, guest designer and Dior ambassador. Like an ode to creativity and to the joys of winter, this exceptional collection dedicated to skiing and snowboarding reflects several of the passions of the racing driver, a cultural innovator. Irresistibly refined, it pushes the boundaries of surpassing oneself, while striving for quintessential agility and durability. The silhouettes prioritize relaxation and simplicity, highlighting a plural range of traditional savoir-faire. An incredible fusion of historical, contemporary and intimate “heritages”, staged at the heart of a unique campaign, which Lewis Hamilton embodies, signed by Rafael Pavarotti.

Against a backdrop of captivating mountain scenery in magnetic shades of blue, the seven-time Formula 1 world champion alternates between oversized shirts worn with wide-legged pants, and ski ensembles. Other looks include denim, knitwear and a sweatshirt, all made notably from organic or recycled textiles.

True objects of use and desire, the Dior 8 backpack and Messenger Rider 2.0 are revealed in ultra-resistant materials fused with a practical spirit and call for freedom of movement and expression. In turn, the B44 blade completes an original retro-futuristic look, while the B33 sneakers promise a resolutely casual allure. Lastly, like multiple punctuations, colorful crystal beads adorn a necklace, bracelet and ring, celebrating the love of jewelry and art of attention to aesthetic detail so dear to Kim Jones and Lewis Hamilton.
