Introducing Roseblood, the Iconic Rosé by Estoublon: A taste of Provence now in Australia

04 Oct 2024

Roseblood, the celebrated rosé collection from the historic Château d’Estoublon, announces its arrival in Australia this Spring. A distinguished expression of the Art de Vivre of Provence, Roseblood embodies elegance, exceptional craftsmanship, and the enchanting spirit of the French Provence countryside.

Nestled on the Alpilles Massif in the heart of Provence since 1489, Château d’Estoublon is a magical 300-hectare estate renowned for its exceptional olive oils and wines. This Provençal Garden of Eden is a place out of time, existing in harmony with nature, preserved and magnified by an exceptional know-how. A luxury hospitality living by the rhythm of the olive and grape harvests, cultivating a unique way of life.

Since 2020, Carla Bruni, alongside other families deeply rooted in the luxury and wine industries, including Jean-Guillaume Prats, has been shaping the new destiny of Estoublon, giving birth to Roseblood, it’s iconic rosé. Passionate about the new adventure and driven by a desire to learn, Carla immersed herself into the subtle art of winemaking with the estate’s renowned technical director, Victor Joyeux, resulting in an elegant and delicate rosé.

Roseblood is a blend coming from the best terroir in the Coteaux Varois en Provence vineyards, offering a signature style of wine that harmoniously combines elegance, subtle complexity and finesse. Tension, vitality and floral tones are expressed in the delicate balance of emblematic Provence grape varieties including Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah, enhanced by a hint of Rolle.

Roseblood transcends the experience of a simple wine tasting, embodying the expression of Estoublon’s Art de Vivre in a relaxed and slightly playful way. It transports those who savour it into a singular and wonderful universe.

The bottle is the true symbol of French Chic where attention is paid to every detail. Moulded on the shoulders of the bottle, the Roseblood monogram represents the brand. The refined front label, embraced by a rose and serpent – key symbols of the Roseblood universe – features a masterful blend of textures and techniques. The bottle’s ring is also engraved with ‘Roseblood’, which can be seen through the cap.

After launching in the UK and USA, Roseblood will make its Australian debut with two exquisite rosés: the elegant and delicate Roseblood d’Estoublon Rosé and the gastronomic and complex 1489 Roseblood d’Estoublon Rosé, with the iconic wines poured and listed at some of Australia’s top restaurants and bars, including Promenade Bondi, Raes on Wategos, Bobbie’s Double Bay and the Lucas Group. The rosé collection will also be available to purchase through select fine wine retailers across Australia including Kent Street Cellars.
