Mulberry is delighted to announce its B Corp Certification, a pivotal achievement in its journey towards a regenerative and circular business model. This certification reflects the brand’s dedication to progressive British luxury, rooted in a purpose-driven approach.
Achieving B Corp status requires meeting rigorous social and environmental standards across five key Impact Areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers. By attaining this certification with a score of 87.1, Mulberry joins a global community of like-minded businesses committed to creating positive change.
Notably, Mulberry earned high marks in the Environment category, highlighting its dedication to responsible sourcing and circular practices. The brand sources 100% of its leather from environmentally accredited tanneries and leads the way in luxury recommerce through the Mulberry Exchange.
This certification marks a significant step in Mulberry’s ongoing journey towards sustainability, complementing its Made to Last Manifesto announced in 2021. Mulberry’s sustainability strategy, centered around the Five Cs — Climate, Cultivation, Craft, Circularity, and Culture — continues to drive positive impact in the luxury fashion industry.
“We are incredibly proud to be one of the first global luxury brands to achieve B Corp Certification. This milestone is a testament to the hard work of our teams and the commitment we have made to our communities and the environment," said Andrea Baldo, CEO of Mulberry. "But this is only the beginning, and we look forward to learning and growing as we continue to contribute to a better future."
