Just before summer, Trudon escapes to the Mediterranean shores, and unveils an elegant summer capsule collection. Evoking a sunscape on the horizon, the original duo composed of a perfume – Isla – and a scented candle – de Oro – highlights the many facets of bergamot. In this daring and luminous double composition, the main ingredient – bergamot – shines through: with a modern approach to the brand’s royal spirit, Isla de Oro is an invitation to an elevated, graphic journey. Picture an Andalusian palace: an elegant silhouette walks towards an immense balcony window that overlooks a fragrant garden and Mediterranean islands in the distance. The fruity, citrusy freshness of the Isla fragrance – imagined by Emilie Bouge – brings the setting to life.
A noble ingredient revered in Haute-Parfumerie, bergamot brings a universal modernity to Isla: come the evening, the highly crafted citrus note is the perfect attire to attend an evening, from a golden sunset moment to the halo of the first lanterns lighting up as night falls. More faceted, the Oro candle reveals a complex bouquet of bergamot, orange, and gardenia. Mimicking the crisp summer light, a sunny-yellow gradient illuminates the perfume bottle and candle from the bottom up whilst the tops are lacquered in a matte satin white. The magic of an elegant Mediterranean island fugue is at play.
For the very first time Trudon unveils a solar duo composed of an eau de parfum and a candle.
This collection, is born from a close collaboration with Emilie Bouge, historical and key partner of the brand, who created some of the most iconic home scents but also eaux de parfum for Trudon.
Trudon and Emilie Bouge have expressed two different facets of the same ingredient: bergamot. Isla is a contemporary interpretation of a cologne, which leaves a fresh, aromatic veil on the skin, while the scented candle De Oro explores the floral aspect of this same citrus, giving every interior the air of a Mediterranean getaway.
