Wedgwood introduces a new colourway for the world-famous Wild Strawberry collection, a pattern world- renowned since it first launched in 1964.
The Wild Strawberry Inky Blue collection harks back to the tradition of blue and white tableware, 19th century cobalt majolica & the deep blue tones of Wedgwood Jasperware. Retaining all of the revered motifs of the original Wild Strawberry pattern introduced in 1964, this new updated colour adds a bold contemporary contrast against the silky white fine bone china body.
The campaign places Wedgwood’s beloved Wild Strawberry pattern in the hands of a new generation, with the aim of targeting a younger consumer group – the daring Rebel Creatives.
Shot with punchy pops of red, green, and blue, this campaign explores a narrative of young, carefree romance and the sharing of warm moments, with themes of rewilding and reconnecting with nature reinforcing Wedgwood’s brand code of ‘Freedom of Expression’.
Taking Wild Strawberry off the tabletop and into the wild, models Lauren Green and Ewan Woodward transpose Inky Blue from the dining room into the blue-skied and verdant wild. This youthful and carefree cast explore the wilderness and their fledgling relationship, showcasing a classic British summer of love with a modern twist.
Photographed by Jack Symes in his signature style that explores natural light, and working alongside Video Director, Robert Fox, the campaign images and video content captures fleeting moments in time with a dreamlike quality.
