As summer draws near, RIMOWA is delighted to reveal its latest seasonal Essential collection, with a new colour palette inspired by the vibrant charm of tropical destinations. Now, purposeful travellers can prepare for their journeys ahead with two complementary pastel shades available across the Essential suitcase range, select designs from the Signature collection, the RIMOWA Personal range, the RIMOWA UNIQUE customisation programme, as well as a selection of travel accessories.
Accompanied by a campaign inspired by the essence of summertime roadtrips, featuring unexpected sights of larger-than-life statues of papayas and mint ice cream cones, RIMOWA’s new seasonal collection features Mint - a luminous and delicate shade of green—which draws inspiration from the pastel-hued buildings characteristic of tropical cities. Meanwhile, Papaya—a bright and radiant shade of orange —transports its wearer to a beachside sunset.
Crafted from premium polycarbonate, the Essential range is now expertly matched in Mint and Papaya - from its shell, the handle and zipper, to the badge and wheel housing offering a one-of-a-kind monochromatic appearance. To ensure a seamless travel experience, the same attention to detail is seen throughout the suitcases’ design, from RIMOWA’s stage-less telescopic handle and Multi-wheel system, to the TSA approved locks.
Additionally, the interior features a fully zipped compartment to contain all your belongings with a large mesh zipped pocket for additional storage. RIMOWA’s adjustable Flex Divider is on the other side, with a compression system that allows travellers to pack more whilst keeping items in perfect order during transport. Offering a variety of sizing options, Essential suitcases in Cabin, Check-In M and Trunk Plus are available in Papaya. Cabin, Check-In L and Trunk Plus sizes are available in Mint. To ensure a lifetime of travel, the new RIMOWA Essential suitcase collection benefits from an unconditional lifetime guarantee.
Made to match, the RIMOWA Personal Polycarbonate Cross-Body Bag now comes in a shade of White Gloss and Mint, crafted in the same grooved polycarbonate as the Essential range. The durable and lightweight bag features a webbing strap in the delicate green hue, and a matching leather interior.
A selection of daily bags have also been reimagined in the seasonal colour, including the RIMOWA Signature Flap Backpack Large in Mint and the RIMOWA Signature Duffle Bag in Mint, both offering a spacious interior for travellers to store their belongings.
Additionally, RIMOWA UNIQUE offerings such as wheels, handles and tags will be unveiled in both Mint and Papaya, made to fit RIMOWA’s iconic Classic suitcases.
To make for an entirely coordinated travel experience, RIMOWA’s Packing Cubes complete the collection in the two new shades. For an added personal touch, RIMOWA celebrates the new seasonal collection with two exclusive Luggage Charms, complete with RIMOWA’s iconic monogram adorning their back. A set of stickers with a vintage flair are also unveiled as part of the release.
