To usher in the Year of the Dragon in 2024, Oribe Hair Care introduces two new limited-edition gift sets exclusively for Lunar New Year. Presented in custom-crafted boxes designed by the Australian-Chinese artist Chris Chun, each collection offers Oribe’s best-selling products, perfect for gifting to others — or oneself. The maximalist packaging features lush paintings in rich jewel tones — including auspicious red and gold, said to welcome prosperity — of peony roses, representing the essence of spring during this period of the lunar calendar, also known as The Spring Festival, alongside la mariposa blanca, the national flower of Cuba, where co-founder Oribe Canales was born. This intoxicating strain of jasmine is also a keynote in Oribe’s signature scent, Côte d’Azur. As Chun, who is renowned for his contemporary Chinoiserie and reverence of nature, notes of his inclusion of the butterfly-shaped blooms,“Butterflies are a symbol of hope and freedom.”When intertwined with wood dragons, the Chinese Zodiac’s most powerful sign, Chun’s vibrant designs inspire recipients to welcome this new year with a deep sense of gratitude, joy and great prosperity.

This box is made using FSC Certified, Green Seal Certified minimum 100% post-consumer fiber papers using a chlorine free process, soy inks and renewable electricity. Internal tray is made from 100% biodegradable and renewable plant fiber. Recyclable.
