Haydenshapes, leading design led brand created by multi-disciplinary Australian designer Hayden Cox, expands its RTW offering with their 32-piece season 3 collection titled ‘SUPER NATURAL.’
Blending avant-garde aesthetics with eco-conscious principles, ‘SUPER NATURAL’ is a captivating blend of nostalgia and rebellious spirit, designed to push boundaries with a focus on relaxed tailoring, versatile surf pieces, innovative fabric stories, classic basics and signature silhouettes. Season 3 sees the continuation of knitted Merino Wool, with a focus on Polartec fleece, Japanese Denim, heavy cotton jersey, peached poly nylon, taffeta and mesh, making it the most multi-textural collection to date.
Inspired by natural elements, the new collection adorns moonscape and seascape prints that integrate DIY hand stencilled flames across feature sweaters and patch appliques. These symbols pay homage to the surf culture of the 90s, the era in which Haydenshapes brand was founded and a time of unrivalled expression and untamed creativity. The new prints are authentic colour test swatches pulled from the walls of the Haydenshapes custom suroard factory airbrush room. The contrasting tones created from expelled colour,ushering in new hues - both physically and metaphorically.
Aligned to Haydenshapes sustainable commitments, season 3 customised hardware pays homage to the brands unique surf heritage and DNA, integrating the suroard leash plug metal hardware, upcycled buttons made from suroard manufacturing waste and high end bio resin buttons, all handmade in Mona Vale, on the North Beaches of Sydney Australia.

Haydenshapes’ focus on wool and premium materials continues in season 3, bringing through updated patch art to relaxed tailored wool staples. The pieces are made from 100% Australian merino wool, certified by The Woolmark Company, created to be worn season after season. Season 3 features Haydenshapes’ unique take on a sun/surf shirt made from a waterproof, quick dry custom spec nylon to be worn in and out of the water, whilst providing a 98% UV block.
